By purchasing any item from this website, participating in any programs or groups, or utilizing any provided information, you agree to the Build a Better Bakery Terms and Conditions laid forth in this document.
Refunds
Essential Paperwork and Replays
There are no refunds on downloadable items, such as Essential Paperwork or replay links to workshops.
Elite Mentorship Program
When signing up for the program, there are both subscription and one time-payment options. If you sign up for a subscription, you will be automatically enrolled when your subscription term renews, unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
If you chose a payment plan, you are legally obligated to make all payments on the plan. If payments are not made in full on a timely basis, you will lose access to any content related to your payment plan without refund.
Money Back Guarantee
There is a 7 day Money Back Guarantee with your initial purchase of any membership option in the Elite Mentorship Program.
Note: New member bonuses will not be awarded to new members who decide to use the Money Back Guarantee.
After the 7 day money back guarantee time period has passed, the membership fee becomes non-refundable and bonuses will be sent out.
If your subscription renews, and you decide to not continue in the program, you have 7 days to cancel your membership after the renewal date, to receive a full refund of the renewal fee. After 7 days, the renewal fee becomes non-refundable.
You will not be refunded if you miss the mentorship meetings; replays may be available in the group.
Membership Pauses
As a current Elite Mentorship Program Member, you may be eligible for pauses in your membership.
You will retain the payment tier for your program membership, but will not be able to access the Elite content during the pause month(s). You will then be automatically added back to the Program and payment system on the 1st day of the following month, after your pause is complete.
Live Workshops
Replay links will be sent out to everyone who registers.
A full money back guarantee is available for any person who attends a live workshop in full, and is not satisfied with the value. This guarantee must be claimed within 6 hours of the initial live workshop. After this time period, all sales are final.
Self-Study Courses
All self-study courses are currently hosted on Teachable and Udemy.
Any course purchase comes with lifetime access to course material on the original platform for the life of the platform.
There is a 30 day money back guarantee on purchased courses.
One-on-One Consulting
There are no refunds on consulting calls.
Calls may be canceled or rescheduled on the Calendly platform.
Giveaways and Prizes
If you are the winner of any giveaway, you will be notified by Melissa.
Giveaways and prizes are not redeemable for cash, and are dispersed at the discretion of Build a Better Bakery.
Elite Mentorship Program Contract
New Membership Status: Clients are considered a “new member” and eligible for any new member bonus in the following situations:
It is the client’s first time enrolling in the Elite Mentorship Program.
One year has passed since the client’s most recent subscription cancellation.
Non-Renewal: If the membership renewal fee for the Elite Mentorship Program is not paid within 7 days of the expiration date, membership will be cancelled. The client will be removed from the Elite email list, from the Elite Mentorship Program Facebook Group, and any other section of the paid program the client is a part of.
Program Termination: If for any reason The Elite Mentorship Program is discontinued, all members will be notified via email and through the Elite Mentorship Program Facebook Group. Prorated refunds for unused subscription mentorship time will be distributed. No refunds will be distributed for deluxe or lifetime membership purchases, but a follow up coaching plan may be considered.
Meeting Attendance: The main focus of the mentorship program is to provide in-person discussion and support. It is the duty of the member to attend meetings or watch replays. If the member misses a meeting, there are no refunds or make-up sessions.
Subscription Membership: Elite Mentorship Program has a subscription option. Subscription lengths and prices may vary. Your initial sign up price will not change if you stay a consistent member. Automatic renewal is a feature that allows you to make your initial membership purchase, and renew your spot in the program automatically.
Payment Plans: If you choose a payment plan, you are contractually bound to fulfill all payments as scheduled.
Platinum Tier Membership: When a client chooses the the Platinum membership option, they can choose a one time payment or 12 month payment plan. After 12 months of payments, the client will gain access to the Elite Mentorship Program for the life of the Build a Better company, at no additional cost.
There is no guarantee how long Build a Better Bakery will be in business, but Platinum members will be considered for a follow up coaching plan, if the program is ever discontinued.
Content, Date and Time Changes: It is possible that the normal content, date and time of meetings may need to shift in the future. Build a Better Bakery reserves the right to make these changes, when necessary.
Mentor Cancellations
Any mentor scheduled meeting will not be cancelled unless there is acute illness or emergency.
If a cancellation is necessary, a make-up meeting will be scheduled and posted as soon as possible. All members will be notified via the program Facebook Page and email.
Enrollments
Once you are enrolled, you will begin to receive benefits of the program you have enrolled in. Make sure to pay attention to directions and check your inbox for further information.
Program Enrollment Availability
Program slots are sometimes limited. Slots will be awarded to the first clients to pay for their slot when enrollment begins.
There are no holds.
No Reselling of Tools or Program Information
All information, tools, documents, videos, articles, photos, links and other items owned and produced by Build a Better Bakery and our affiliates are protected by copyright law.
Any reselling, reposting, copy and pasting, reusing for monetary purposes (unless specifically instructed to do so) or pirating, is a breach of copyright and is illegal. Legal action will be sought immediately to protect Build a Better Bakery information.
If you are found to be reselling or reusing Build a Better Bakery content without our written consent, you are committing copyright infringement and will be prosecuted.

Build a Better Bakery is an affiliate of multiple companies, including Amazon.com and others. If you see a product link on this website, it may or may not be an affiliate link. Please note that all affiliate relationships were established to better serve clients and all affiliate products are specifically chosen for their customer benefits. If any purchase is made from an affiliate, you will not be charged any extra fees. Instead, a small percentage of your payment goes towards supporting the Build a Better Bakery mission.

Build a Better Bakery, and it’s associated coaches, will not be held liable for any damages to clients or their businesses resulting from participating in mentorship or the use of any information provided. This website and all associated tools, courses and programs are intended for educational purposes only. All tools and advice are not to be considered legal advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other type of legally binding advice.
All information is to be used at the discretion of the client. Individuals should consult their own attorney regarding whether their activities expose them to legal liability, loss or other issues.
No level of success or monetary gain is guaranteed when using Build a Better Bakery services or information.
I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Build a Better Bakery, its officers, officials, coaches, agents and/or employees, contractual labor other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of Build a Better Bakery, with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property associated with my presence or participation, whether arising from the negligence of the releases or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I agree that this Release of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. All disputes and matters whatsoever concerning or otherwise arising under, in connection with or incident to this Agreement shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a Court located in the State of California, USA, to the exclusion of the courts of any other state or country.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, AND AGREE TO IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY, WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT.
