—> Overview: Steps to Creating Effective Marketing for Your Baking Business

  1. Nail your Messaging - Use powerful messaging to promote and direct people to a well made BUSINESS Facebook page or website. Get more help with creating your messaging here.

  2. Tag All Your Products - Make sure your contact info and logo are on EVERY single product that comes out of your bakery.

  3. Consistent Ads (free or paid) - Join as many local Facebook group and vendor Facebook groups in your community as you can, and post targeted messaging ads, on a consistent basis. For more help creating ad content, join us in the Elite Mentorship Program.

  4. In-Person Networking - Introduce yourself to other local bakers (the Human Bakery Business Funnel), large businesses and other businesses in your area. Consider collaborating or working together to build your businesses together.

  5. Vendor Events - Get yourself signed up for a few vendor events in your area, that are known to have good traffic. Sell at the event, and make sure to have materials to discuss orders with potential customers.

—> But what if you don’t feel confident enough to market yourself?

Marketing can be overwhelming… I hear ya. It takes guts and vulnerability to put yourself and your products out there. Keep in mind that when it comes to your products, YOU are the subject matter expert. You are normally going to be talking to people who have NO IDEA how to do what you do. Keeping this in mind may make it easier to talk to people about what you offer.

As mentioned in the video, I would suggest starting with the 5 steps listed above (in this order) to get your marketing working for you, and converting customers for your baking business.
